I wouldn’t be surprised if UD QC did catch this and decided that rather than pull the card, they went with the error back. And that’s the point here - it’s an uncorrected error card.

I’m giving UD a pass because it’s a mistake and the person got what they were supposed to! The checklist DOES take precedence here - you can see that this subset wasn’t supposed to be autographed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if UD tries to do something, but they aren’t going to send out a sticker of his auto for people to self apply.

Pretty sure the entire set has this error. I've seen more than just Bedard so far. There's no way they were going to pull the entire patch set because of this.

SP Game Used had a similar issue with their Inked Sweater non-RC set from the 21-22 product, too. I have seen an unautographed Hellebuyck in COMC, and I pulled a Marchand unautographed Inked Sweaters jersey from a pack. They both say “autograph” on the back. You’d think the title “Inked Sweater” would mean that there would be a signature of some sort.

I think, on Bedard’s, the card’s text was “general” and typical for most patch versions of inked sweaters. UD may have not had the template changed when they shortened the print run for his actual auto’d version vs a non-auto version. It seems like an error of poor follow-thru.

Big difference here. The Inked Sweaters are meant to have an autograph. The patch /25 are not.
