Sp Signature edition?

Hi all,

does anyone know what's happening with the SP signature edition boxes? I know the "release" date was coming up.

Looks like an excellent set. But all sites are "sold out." Which I assume means they don't know what's happening.

Last I hear it was due to release in Jan/Feb 2022 and then that got squashed. Since then there's been no news that I'm aware of. Looks like an interesting release.

Looks like a potential "stud" release. Something like the old 08-09 Legends Masterpieces - but with more legends. Still one of my favourite sets. Hopefully this hits well with the legend crop!

Kind of figured this. Will there be a checklist prior to release? Would like to see one before buying a case, or cases, to see both the player list and odds/tiering on the bigger name autos.

The horror of a product based entirely on retired players being released in 2023 instead of 2021. How will we decide who are RC's and who are not? Shame on you Upper Deck

I truly hope this is a homerun. Can you imagine a product with Lemieux, Jagr, Gretzky, Selanne, Orr, Lidstrom, Brodeur, Roy, Hasek... just list them all.

And then all the possible team legends that don't always hit with other fan bases but are hugely popular in the home fan bases.

I'd rather wait and see this be one of the best legends products.

The checklist usually releases about 2 weeks or so prior to release, so yes you'll be able to see one before the product drops.

I believe the distributors have it listed as Q1 2023. Take it with a grain of salt though because it has been continuously pushed back.

I'm fine with UD pushing it back, if it means a product without quality issues and redemptions.
