Spa Break. Dualtastic!!!

decided against my will to bust 3 boxes of this stuff and the first box i ripped yielded a vanek auto rc and a dual sott of lundqvist and weekes! very nice looking card actually and these are pretty rare. i think i've only seen like 5 duals pulled out of all the breaks i have seen and most are of craptastic players :) . so happy on that one.

i have had my opinions on this product from day one and i think i'll just end the debate right here. i am very happy with my breaks (9 boxes). they yielded me 3 rookie authentics, auto rcs i traded for a boogard auto patch, a dual sott of a star player and thanks to crankshaft, i am also getting a bochenski auto patch to complete a past deal. so in 9 boxes i got TWO auto patches, a dual sott and the usual rcs and sotts. not bad if you ask me :D

Congrats on the Dual SOTT, but the Weekes/Lundqvist has only been selling for $25-$35, so I'm not sure you'll get an auto patch for it. The Dual SOTTs are one per case, but there are only 30 cards in the set -- there are at least 300 copies of each.

that's it? well thanks for the info. still happy with the breaks and the card should be able to fetch me something nice regardless. stranger fewer cards=higher print run? O_o
 
John, nice breaks... you did about as good as you can do without getting a Sid or AO or a patch...

Yeah... it's just division really. Multiplying out the auto patches and auto rookies gives a figure of around 8,000 cases. Divide by 30 cards in the set and you get 266.6 copies of each card -- assuming there may be a few unannounced SPs (which I don't think this one is), the print run is probably up in the high 200's to around 300.

If there were more cards in the set, each one in particular would be harder to find and thus have a shorter print run based on a set number of cases produced. :)

holy math whiz hatzo lol. well the card guides for 7 in the nrp, so that's all i need to know =).
