SPA opinions

I typically rip 3 or 4 cases of SPA every year. Not sure about this year. I know there was something about some Crosby autos added to help offset the lack of Auto RC "value". Any opinions?

I think the Big Hit, is the Mcdavid Young Guns Buyback Auto /97.
I've heard a lot of people will be going crazy for that.

but other than the McD, just your typical Boeser, Hischier, Patrick, Keller & McAvoy.

Yup, it'll be the McDavid Buyback /97 as the big "chaser" card this year.

Just spitballing... but with UD using the veteran acetate in S2, any chance we are seeing a loaded up rookie acetate hunt in SPA? Again, just guessing, but it would make sense to beef up the product.

Their facebook page is advertising the upcoming release. Some decent looking stuff, but like typical UD fashion, you have to dish out premium bucks for a gamble on a decent pull

Only three immortal inks listed on the checklist and something like five Marks of Distinction Autographs. I know there will be updates in future years but that is sad for an initial release.

Should still be solid. Bummed DeBrusk doesn't have a signed FW from what I'm seeing unless it will be a redemption.

The Brock Boeser rookie authentics autograph patch card /25 looked very familiar, after looking through my collection it's a dead on copy of the sp authentic rookie patch autos from basketball back in 07/08 , nice throwback.

I'm surprised it's allocated unless they are expecting a huge demand due to the McDavid YG buyback auto.

Stamkos and Price sign of the times are 1 in 53,000 packs. Set builders are gonna probably pay a ransom for those.

it will suck buying loose pack of this product unless your lcs is a true honest person or the brains at upperdeck make the McDavid a redemption... I highly doubt they would insert the McDavid without a penny sleeve but who knows

that card can be easily searched by the feel....... I don't pack search as I only buy boxes or cases and you could easily tell when you have a special penny sleeve card in the pack

I'm not saying all lcs are dishonest people but there are some and maybe the staff that might search loose packs
