I pulled a Crosby Significant Numbers card today...but it is a redemption.

Can any one tell me why there are copies out there on Ebay of this card for sale and not redemptions?

PS I will do a proper "pull" thread Sunday after i scan.

Same thing happened to me. Don't know the answer, but I'd like to hear one. Doesn't even say they have the card in stock yet. Athlete committed to signing soon...:| Maybe they sent Sid 2 batches of cards to sign and he hasn't finished the second batch yet??

I remember they did this with SPA a couple of years ago I think. Believe it was 06-07 when they merged with 05-06 where indeed some athletes didn't sign all of their cards so some of autos were sent as redemptions

Yes I pulled the Malkin / Staal from OPC Premier Dual Jersey Dual Auto and when I put in the number they said I had to ask for a replacement and yet some cards were already selling on ebay. Rep told me that maybe one of the players didn't sign all the cards. RIGHT !

Can't be the cards that weren't signed as UD uses stickers on these. My bet is they ran out of Crosby stickers and will send the others as soon as they replenish their Sid sticker stock (say that 3 times fast lol)

Update

I received an email from Upper Deck this morning saying that the Crosby Significant Numbers has been shipped. Also my 2 redemptions left from 2008/09 OPC Premier as well. :goal: That means no redemptions left for me. :goal:
