Stamkos gets 50

He is 12 clear of Malkin, and has the Rocket Richard Trophy locked up. The development of his all-around game this season has been fantastic to see. But his sniping ability is awesome to watch. Reminiscent of Ovechkin's play a few seasons ago.

Stamkos is going to be a scoring machine for many years to come and the scary part is he works harder than Ovechkin ever has. He could make a run at Ovie's 65 goals before long.

I thought it was kind of neat that in 1992-93, the year that Teemu had 76, and Alex Mogilny did 2, both teams made the playoffs by 3 points. Buffalo was 8th seed, and Winnipeg was 7th (they finished 7th by 1 point as well)

I might have missed a couple, but those were the most prominent ones to me.

I'm sure if you go back to the 80s, when Harold Snepsts' mother's dog was capable of scoring 50 goals in a year, there are as many in that decade as there were in the last 20 years, if not more.
