start collecting prucha/lunqvist

Hi, I am a huge hockey fan. I have been collecting baseball, fb, and bkball cards my entire life. I have never been able to get into hockey though. I know very little about the hobby, even though I am a HUGE rangers fan. I think I want to start collecting prucha, lunqvist, crosby, and ovechin. Should I? Also, would anyone trade these guys for fb, or bb, or bk autos.

Rangers fan...I'd say stick with Prucha and Lundqvist
personally I'd stay away from Crosby cause everyone and there dogs seem to collect him, personally I think hes cards are over inflated right now. So if you want to collect him (and not just wanting to get on the band wagon cause the media said so) then be prepared to fork out a load of cash

thx for the advice. I agree on crosby, but look at Bron Bron. Everyone collected him, and his cards still have potential to get even more expensive. Ill prolly stick with prucha and lundqvist. Any advice on hockey, best sets, etc.

You want to collect all 4 of those guys? Since you said you know little about the hobby (not your fault at all) you have to realize that Crosby or Ovechkin ALONE will have 100+ cards a year probably totalling $15,000+ or so. EACH!

when i say collect, i mean pick up a few rcs of each, nothing too fancy. Even one rc would do for now. My biggest collection of a single player*all jets (would probaly be vilma, where i have 8 rcs, 1 auto, and some others.) I like to pick up 1-2 cards of every player i like.
