The Jets had their oppurtunity to make a mark and win the game, twice actually.

Doug Brien missed 2 Field Goals in the last 2:30 of the game, 47 Yards and 43 Yards I think it was. Even though the Jets offense only scored 3 points, they still deserved to win the game in my opinon.

Roethlisberger made 2 rookie mistakes. 1 of them which was costly, and one which almost ruined their playoff chances.

But in the end, the Steelers take advantage of their weapons and win in OT with a Field Goal by Jeff Reed.

Great Game

Yeah usually I don't watch football, but around this time of the year I do, all the way to the Super Bowl, it's awesome! I'm starting to get more into it, and even playing madden for ps2, and I watched that game with friends, awesome game! But the Jets have no one else to blame but them, for blowing field goals....

Yup.. weak play calling at the end. The Jets should have tried pounding it in the Steelers end for more yardage to help out Doug Brien

the first field goald brien missed it was bad luck , it hit the cross bar but the second one he totally missed, the snap and hold were good.

i bet nate keading had a voodoo dol of brien and poked him tonight

lol... im sure there buddies. :D

I think the Jets kicker needs to start looking for a new job. Im not a big fan of either team so the game was fun to watch. If the Steelers want to advance any further they will need a much better effort in my opinion.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Jets drop Brian ASAP. Remember how quick they were to get rid of the at the time top-tier John Hall?

The Steelersd tried to lose this one and still won. You know what they say, don't you? "It's not how you play the game , but if you win!" I am a Big Steelers fan, but the J E T S have a awesome defense and are sure to kick some major booty in future. They just need to have a better offense and not blame a kicker which is only one portion of the game.

The Jets deserved to win that game. Even though Pennington only had 3 points he had those two final drives and Doug Brien missed both of the field goals.

Great game. But the deserving team definitely won the game. The Steelers dominated. The Jets caught so many lucky breaks except for the missed field goals. Punt return for TD, Int return for TD, this game shouldn't have been very close.
