Did a trade with Brad (bkrysko) at the end of last week, finally got around to scanning it, as well as had a couple packages of mail come in earlier in the week that I got around to getting pictures of. I have not scanned today's mail yet, but I will start with that. Got a nice one for my daughter Sydnee's BTP redemptions.

In a package from Montreal (kyle), I got a Larry Robinson Ultimate signatures from 06/07, a Dual Game used Jersey /65 from 05/06 Artifacts of Boom Boom Geoffrion, and a /100 Parallel from the Habs Centennial Set. Two other nice cards I got from this that I can add to the trader box (that are going to be tough to get as I love my vintage Habs), a Guy Lafleur (from kyle) and Yvan Cournoyer Centennial (lucky random pull)Inks. Two all time Hab greats. Pretty happy with these.

And for Sydnee, her 7th in hand redemption. Also in the trade with Kyle.

Steve Mason/Simeon Varlamov.

Pretty happy for her. I am hoping to have the points all in hand I need to send off 5 more redemptions for her by next week sometime.

Now for my picture mail. Start off with my trade from Brad. My David Clarkson collection basically is from his rookie year. If I have base that I pull of him from this year it gets added, everything else I have acquired of him from this year has been gifts. First of the OPC blank back, then the BAP Auto /15 (both from Eric). I did make a trade for the regular BAP auto, but that was more to help him out.

Here is the gift from Brad. I will find some stuff for him to repay.

Nice to add that to the collection.

Next up the hard hitting aspect.

I like Scott Stevens. I know him, I love the way he played the game. I remember seeing this card a while back and thinking I have to add one of those to my collection. This matchup represents one of the most famous big hits of Steven's career based on how the rest of this guys career went after their encounter. I remember watching the game and them interviewing Bobby Clarke and asking of his health as it was early in his return, may have even been one of his very first games. Clarke talked about him being fully recovered and with no aprehension of playing his game and not being afraid of anyone. Afraid, he may not have been, but respected Scott's game I think he did not.

Anyways, I think you guys know who they player I am talking about is, and where I am going from here.

Now for the stinky. I was able to land my first game used equipment this week. After a couple weeks of negotiation, after being contacted that these may be available, I had them in hand. I opened the box, and just about passed out. These things stink.

Still looking to photomatch them, but these are Clarke MacArthur gloves from his time with the Rochester Americans. I have a few pictures that I think will work for me, but I have not been able to take a good look at them yet, and to have the gloves out beside me for long enough without passing out due to the stink to help me reference them against the pictures. I will get around to it though. Nice to add these to my collection, as lets face it, not a lot of MacArthur stuff out there to chase.

Thanks for looking, hope you are all well.

Nice stuff! Although I have ventured into game worn items more and more as of late, I have yet to obtain any gloves for that exact stinky reason...lol. Congrats on all the new additions.

Great gloves... Love Game Used items

I bought a set of shoulder pads and now those suckers stink... They were Portland Pirates pads Zagrapan I believe... Also have a set of Bobby Ryan elbow pads he gave me one night after a game for my kids.. 1 each he chuckled... and tossed them 2 me.. they were a bit stinky as well... But for the ROY runner up I will air them out... lol
