Hello all. I only have three cards to show off. However, there is a story that goes along with the last card. Well, on with the show before some more tell.

First up an ebay pickup. A nice looking 08-09 SPGU Letter Marks Nickname "N" 2/50.

The next addition is another ebay purchase. This one comes from the former boss man here Bruce (meatmancgy). I was really happy to win this one. I've always loved the look of this set, and had long sought one.

07-08 UD Black Pride of a Nation Markus Naslund 9/25.

Bruce messaged me through here after I paid for the above card. He said that there was "a little present included... nothing big, but something I'm fairly sure you don't have already."

Now apparently Bruce and I have vastly different understandings of what "a little present" is. When I unwrapped the gift I actually swore aloud. I couldn't believe what I was holding.

Bruce, thank you so very much. You are first class.

Now the yapping is done.

05-06 SPx SPxcitement Superstars Auto 1/5.

I have been fortunate to be on the receiving end of two acts of HI generosity over the last month. It is people like Bruce, and Cole before him that make HI my favorite place to hang and share this hobby.

Thanks for the view, comments are always appreciated.

Cheers.

Dave forgot to tell people in his description above that he provided ME with a gift before Christmas, of a card I had never seen. He took a Richard Brodeur / Naslund dual out of his own collection and sent it to me. It was even numbered 19/25, Nazzy's jersey number. This was just a token of gratitude for helping me with my collection as well. Enjoy buddy :)

Awesome....Bruce found that Naslund out of five  I had a card like this that I traded/sold a long time ago -- and Bruce approached me asking if I had remembered who I moved it to -- he went to great lengths to get that card for ya! GREAT gesture!

It's great to see that the hobby hasn't completely turned into money making ventures and that people still care about one another and their collections!
Thanks for the S&T.

As much as I'd like the accolades , this was actually already in my collection. I had four of the five, and was hoping to find the fifth one (thus the message to you). Once I realized it likely couldn't be found, and then Dave gave me that card I had never seen, I decided to surprise him with one of my four :)
