Stupid Question

This is probably fairly obvious and I honestly think this is a seller mistake at this point, but how do you tell the difference between the Gold and Platinum Cup Rookies /25?

The reason I ask is that I bought the Gold forever ago, it has the gold on the sides, no big deal. I just bought what I thought was the platinum (and was described as the platinum) yet it has gold sides too.

What's the deal?

Platinum Cup rookies? I didn't think those existed. The ones out of /25 are black parallels?

The platinum has gold on the sides but no patch and is #ed to 25. The GOLD version is the same as the regular rookie auto/patch but numbered to the player's jersey #

On your player do they have Ultra gold medallions listed and MVP Gold Scripts?
