In spite of high gas prices and rain on about 50 days since June 21st there have been some fantastic deals floating around this summer.
First some box breaks highlights.
06/07 Parkhurst Hobby- Several captains and enforcers cards, and a few auto's (McFarlane, Liut, Tardif Captains and Gilles)
07/08 BAP - 2 Packs yielded a Darcy tucker /99, a Slave Kozlov Auto and a dual auto of Peter Meuler and Jonathon toews!
Now on to the pics. It's Meigray summer sale time, and most years I can find something to add to the collection, even if it's something small. for less than the cost of an SPX box I landed this:
The stick is an absolute beauty, and is dated March 31, 2007. there's a few pics on Getty of him from this game, so I'm hoping for a match.
I also added a few sweaters to the collection, which effectively kept me from going to the National in chicago this year. First was a great Derrick Brassard Colombus Blue Jackets RBK 1.0 jersey courtesy of the team, which he scored his first goal in. Second was a Shawn Mathias World Junior's Game worn jersey thanks to the Ronald McDonald house auctions. The biggest pickup by far was this:
