Anyone else see the trailer? I am looking forward to this in a big way, does anyone know if it's a full length movie/documentary, or just a 30 minute piece on TSN? Any info would be appreciated.

I'll admit...and I might be in the minority here....it was ho-hum.
I loved the fact that Paul seemed content with his post-hockey life and I appreciated his talk on how the game has affected his life. But I thought the feature lacked the "wow" factor that I think many were anticipating (and they were even trying to promote). I would have been shocked if he would have said the HHOF nod was an intrusion vs. and honour. Didn't like the way they tried playing that up.
I was also surprised to see them use stills instead of video footage of the game vs. NJ....they used it in the promo...why not the story?

Agreed but I think I set myself up for being underwhelmed. I was hoping it was 30 minutes or longer and really dug into his post hockey life. Still good to see him happy and enjoying life, however, his test results were scary to hear.

I watched it.
The interviewer absolutely ruined it for me. His style and the way they framed the questions were horrible.
That being said, Kariya is absolutely one of my favorite all time players. His memory loss and loss of brain function really is terrifying. I was saddened to hear that he keeps absolutely no mementos from his playing days, considering how many great moments he was involved in. I have never watched a HHOF induction ceremony, but I think his induction will be one to tune into.

I enjoyed but expected more, not sure why. Glad to see he is doing well but don't believe for a minute that he isnt upset and a little bitter with the NHL. Towards the end he touched on head shots and how it is still unnecessarily happening. He looks to be in great shape, I was blown away when he talked about the damage to his brain, wow!

Very short doc., but I enjoyed it. It helps to remember how good of a player he was. Reminds me also of how dirty a player Scott Stevens was. He wouldn't last playing in today's NHL. Glad Kariya got inducted into the Hall and that he is enjoying his life. Maybe someday he will return to hockey.

my thoughts on Stevens as well.totally class-less player who's responsible for ruining the careers of more than just Lindros and Kariya.when i say class-less i refer to the fact that he would do something so dirty,get called on it from other players like Domi,Kocur and others and then hide behind Daneyko.never saw him drop the gloves when called out,only when it was a rookie he knew he could handle.

I was surprised that he hasn't put on his hockey gear or anything like that in some time. Seems content doing other things and enjoying his life. Good for him
