Suspect patch on the bay.

Hi Guys

I am not one to point the finger but I have been collecting this set for 5 years and have never seen a tag appear in all that time.

Here is my version

Most of the others I have seen have been pretty similar, the 06-07 set was pretty unremarkable and the tags showed up on Crosby in 07-08.

This seller has a good rating but I would be very weary of this card, perhaps some of the guys who collect lucky could jump in?

I actually LOL'd when I saw that card. I wouldnt buy that card with someone else's money.......

I don't think I've ever even seen that type of tag in a gamer.

Neither have I. There was a Lindros 05-06 Upper Deck Series 2 patch up on ebay about a month ago now with a similar tag. I can't find the auction at the moment but I wonder if they are from a similar source...

this is why feedback means nothing, from the feedback you would think this is ok.
not sure if the seller knows they are forged and if they do they dont care. We will get the same answer: " i bought a big collection and they were in there" but people are still buying them. For patch cards i will only buy them when the product is new.

All I can say is this seller is a COMPLETE idiot, using identical patch halves in his forgeries, he deserved to get caught. Has anyone reported this seller to ebay?
