Interesting BIN price he has there. I don't think I will ever be able to bring myself to pay that much for a card but it sure would be nice to have.
 
I would say since it also has his #12 on it and its not scratched out or anything that it is indeed is stick. I think everyone would just hope that it is, but does it really matter? Look at the prices of the letter marks and people even know they are manufactured patches and they are still selling crazy! It boggles my mind that Orr's are selling so high... I mean its a nice card, but over $500 for an auto out of 50? Seems way too high to me... Oops, I guess I got a little off topic there :rolleyes:

Very nice card, heck all those Property Of's... are amazing.

I think it'll hit $650-800. Iggy guys go after him fairly hard but never seem to have the huge coin for the really big stuff.
 
No way to really check but his game used sticks have Iggy on the nameplate along with the number 12 instead of the retail sticks which use IGINLA. I have a couple gamers and they are also longer than the retail sticks. Will have to get some scans in..
 
Well its a 10 day auction on it.. Maybe I will put together a list and try to sell some cards off to fund a go at that card.. I'm guessing it will go in the $700-$800 mark though =/

That sounds about right on the price, but hey, you'll have a landmark card of Iginla that NO ONE else can ever claim to have. :)

Besides, I can't imagine UD using the same players over and over for the Property Of... set in future editions, it would ruin the fun of it seeing the same guys over and over, not to mention cost factors (Gretzky, Yzerman, etc........).

Remember as well, no matter how many more years The Cup is produced, the first year will always be the best on many levels, sort of like 03/04 Exquisite basketball.
 
True, but again I'm thinking of the game used sticks I picked up for $150 each (one broken but still)..

Just bad timing on it. Just dumped a bunch of cash into some SPGU patches, lettermarks, etc.. so not a lot of disposable income.. Hell I might just put a bunch of stuff up for sale so that I can afford some more reasonable stuff in the future.. Afraid I might have to take a pass unless the seller wants to take some trade stuff plus cash from me (ie Crosby/Ovechkin patch, etc)..

I'm pretty sure Vaughn isn't a member here or for that matter, any board. I also do know that he has completed a set of The Cup for his own PC. One thing for sure, he is not lacking for cash.
