Man that is ugly!!! What kind of stick did this come from? Maybe an older wood stick Joe used as a boy? I thought for sure they'd have a graphite stick piece.. too bad..

Brutal, absolutely brutal. You would at least think they would have had a piece of stick that would fit in the area!!! Horrible!

It looks like it may have come from an insert blade as opposed to the shaft. It tapers as you get to the right, kind of like it would do if it was narrowing down from the shaft to the blade. You know, from the old two piece aluminum shafts and wooden blades. They're usually stamped on the narrow side of the shaft.

But yep - looks kinda craptacular.

Yeah, it kind of looks like the ink stamped on a replacement blade. Either that, or the stick was labeled up high on the shaft, and it had been taped over for a while.

sure...it's ugly...but sometimes (like me) ugly works.

I think Cory is right though, looks like a stamp from the stick blade. Those things always have faint marks. Man, that is just fugly all around, especially the fact they didn't cut it to fit the card.

The least they could have done for a card like that is found a stick with a nice clean nameplate. I mean seriously, are they that cheap?

I agree sometimes ugly has an appeal all to its self. It is a bad picec of stick but i also like it...strange. Just like the Sinfeld episode about Crammer " I am repulsed but can't seem to look away".
