Taylor Hall's face stepped on by skate!!!

This is super serial! He could have had his eyeball popped right out of his head! When are people going to wake up and realize skates are sharp and you should not step on peoples with them. The league needs to do something about this, like Skate Safety Week in the off-season or the makings of safety skates. If they can do it with scissors, they can do it with skate blades. Won't somebody pleeease think of the children.

[end sarcasm]

Had he been wearing his helmet complete with shield it wouldn't have happened. Instead these guys skip the lid so as to impress the ladies in the crowd.

I will never understand why they don't wear helmets during the warm up. Sure they want to look pretty but I bet Hall`s face isn't so pretty right now. Warm up is more dangerous then the game....people and pucks flying everywhere.

Man that is scary. Glad he's ok. Potter must have pinched a loaf.

You could've at least thrown in a Family Guy or American Dad reference! :giggity:

But seriously, that looked like it could have been bad...glad it was just some stitches, he could use a scar or two anyway, too pretty lol

you'd think after wayne simmonds trying ot jump giroux people learned that your vertical just isnt that good when on skates. Seriously people, STOP trying to jump over your teammates.

Strange that I was watching warmups and never saw anything about it.. okay so I was watching the CBJ warm up but did not notice anything like that going on at the other end of the ice... Wow lucky he did not get hit in the eye.. 30 stitches... wonder if he will beg out of the lineup the next time he is supposed to play the CBJ....

Its a freak accident...thats all. I see no sense questioning about wearing the helmets in warm-up over a once in a lifetime accident. Sure it could have been tragic, and I'm glad it wasn't. People get hit in the face with pucks far more often than skates, and we dont see everyone running to full face shields :)

Anyways...I'm glad Hall walks away with just stitches. Who are we kidding...the chicks will love that scar too...lol.
