Important update for November 10, 2008...

The charts have been updated... for the last time.

Today, ebay placed their new policy into effect which hides the name of the high bidder for completed auctions. Historically, ebay sales have been the source of 80-90% of the data I use for my charts. However, I have no desire to simply chart prices without names attached to them.

As such, the Press Plate Tracker project has reached its end. I may still be able to do occasional updates if concrete information is forwarded to me either in this thread or via private message or email. However, I will no longer regularly update the charts. Furthermore, I will make no attempt to do a tracker for the 08-09 season.

Sorry to see that it's come to an end, but hopefully it's been a useful and interesting tool to look at.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me out with plate information over the years!

It's been a most useful tool that I'm positive many members have used from time to time. I know I did! Sad to see it go, it's become a bit of a staple. Stupid ebay and raising fees, blocking id's.
 
Hey Andy, thanks for the work you've done in the past, and it is totally understandable why you would let it go at this point.

I owe a couple of plates to your charts, so let me just say, "Thanks!".
 
Hey, this was a great project and Thanks for all your hard work. I hate eBay's new rule, but nothing can be done about it :(
