Just wondering if I should go for blasters or tins. My goal is to land a McDavid YG. Not really worried about other inserts or parallels.

Assuming the blaster is the Walmart Box Blaster, go blaster, if not go metal tin then hobby box.

I've only hit 1 McDavid in 11 hobby boxes, 2 tins and about 6 Walmart blasters hope your luckier than I was.

At a Wal-Mart near me, Parkhurst Blaster is $34.99 (3 YG + Park RCs) and the tins were $44 (3 YG + Oversize). Not even a comparison blaster all the way. And forget hobby boxes, they're what like ~$130 now? And the odds of hitting a worthwhile case hit are ridiculous. Might as well get 4 blasters and double the YGs.

While the Parkhust bonus blaster is on sale it's the way to go, but the sale price won't last and neither will the blasters. A lot of Walmarts are drying up already. Get them while you can.

I would go with the tins. I opened 8 blasters and 2 Walmart blasters and got no McDavid YG's. I opened 4 tins and got two McDavid YG's.

I don't think that's anything other than luck of the draw. All YG's are seeded equally, the big factor here is the number of YG's for the price which (currently) goes to the Parkhurst blasters.

This is very true. I have seen 4 cases of tins opened and only 1 McDavid YG came out of them.

I'm also wondering if they're going to go up. I'm considering buying 3-4 more and holding on to them to see if it rises before I open them, then I could return them if the price stays the same.

I bought 3 walmart blasters today. It says $49.99 on the shelf where they are sitting, but they still scan in at $35.00. I never got a McDavid Young Gun or Parkhurst, but did get a Sam Bennett canvas and 2 jersey cards.

I was thinking each box was supposed to have 1 each of UD Portraits, Canvas and Shining Stars. I got 2 of each in each box. Only 2 all base packs per box. The one box that didn't have a jersey had a blue Shining Stars.

I've opened 12 walmart blasters so far, hit 5 parkhurst McDavids and 4 McDavid YG's.

Seems about right to me, I opened five and pulled 3 jerseys and 2 Royal blue Shining Stars.
