The beginning of a tough 13-14 BTP project...PROGRESS!
Hey everyone,
Bit of a back story here. I actually quit collecting for a couple of years. Bought a house and such and money wasn't so easy to spend on things I didn't require to live. As I get back to a position where I have a little disposable income, I find myself missing the hobby. I miss the search, opening packs, the feeling of finishing a project and the interaction with fellow collectors.
So as a goalie I am naturally drawn to Between the Pipes. With the news of Leaf not planning on a new release this year I decided 13-14 BTP was a great product to jump back in to the hobby. The ultimate (and unrealistic) goal is a master set...but for now I have to focus on a few subsets at a time. So I grab a box and I say "self, whatever your best pull is in this box, let's try and collect that set first". Was I ever surprised when that pull was a Roy Worters Vintage Jersey /4. Well a promise is a promise! So I pulled the Worters and picked up 2 others. This is where I'm at so far!
Anyone that can help, I would love to hear from you. I know there are a couple on ebay, but they are all more than double what I have paid for the other two and with the Canadian dollar tanking...well it doesn't help matters.
