I've seen the Between the Pipes, Elite, and SPx and not real impressed by any of those products..... What's the next MUST HAVE ME A CASE OF/HOT PRODUCT COMING OUT?

Obviously The Cup would be #1, but who knows if we'll ever see that this year...

Anthology?
Titanium?
Dominion?

I'm tired of wasting a 100.00 on a box of junk, going to save up for something WOWSERS!
 
Id say Contenders looks nice. And yes, BTP, Elite, and SPX all leave something to be desired.

on a personal note, ITG Broad Street Boys is tops on my list.
 
Thank you for adding the Panini Prime, I could not think of that for the life of me...

I know the price tag is high, but will it crash down in six months like the Dominion did? I could buy 4-5 tins now, for what I paid originally for the Dominion...
 
What? I was paying 400 when Dominion first came out... now it's 300... not really 4-5 tins but it is lower.

I think Prime is to compete against SP Game Used? Or Ultimate? Not sure, so if you like either of those products, then who cares about secondary prices? Not everything can be like Montreal Canadiens Centennial Edition :D
 
I was paying 400 also, but you get my drift, the prices went down considerably after a short period of time....

SP Game Used I think is God awful..... 33.00 for a base one colored jersey 90% of the time... no thanks. last year's Ultimate I did 13 boxes and it wasn't awful, but not the nicest to me either.

You aren't kidding. Where else are you gonna be able to sell a Markov/Price auto for $200?
 
I am not confident that Dominion faltered. I think many just expected a bad product from Panini and are now seeing it was one of the best products that hit the street. Not a single box could be found at the EXPO last weekend. Why?? Because I think it has been sold out in Canada. Rumour has it that this year's Dominion is going to blow your socks off! Time will tell I guess

I didn't open any Dominion, but agree that it was probably the best product last year (after the price droped down to $280). I was considering trying a tin of Dominion at the Expo before I went, but just like you said, there was none!
 
I don't know what to look forward to, but I certainly recommend not getting to excited about Titanium. The 03/04 Titanium is one of my favorite sets ever and I'm still not too excited for this. Luxury Suite was another one of my favorites from back in the day and it was a complete bust with little value for the price, and a terrible secondary market. Also, Panini has changed some of the things about Pacific's Titanium that made it such a fun product to me.
It still could be a good product, but I'm gonna wait and see what the breaks and ebay sales look like before I drop any money into it.
 
pre-order Broad Street Boys question

How will we know when a shop like Dave and Adams will have the Broad Street Boys set up for pre-order?

i knew I should have grabbed a couple cases of Dominion before the Expo and brought them up... probably could have sold them off - although I doubt they would have made it up there from Buffalo. :)

I have heard the same thing about Dominion this year.... I might pre-order a case if I have the funds for it.

Because price dropped so dramatically. IMO Dominion sales did not had a good start. How many boxes of the Cup could be found if price would be a same? None.

It is interesting to see what price they will start the sale of Dominion now.
