The next coach to fall!

Who wants to place a bet on whether Guy Carbonneau or Tom Renney will be next?

After being at the Rangers game yesterday, I have to place my money on Renney.

Top 5 things heard at the game yesterday:

Fire Renney... Fire Renney
Fire Sather... Fire Sather
BOOOOOOO BOOOOOO (When Redden touched puck)
Go back to Jersey (When Gomez touched the puck)
YEAH!!!!! (When Philly scored)

After last years playoff, of benching is number one goalie Price, I would have to say Guy Carbonneau. It doesn't help benching key guys like Kolalev just to prouve a point. The team doesn't seem to be responding to him anymore. You need experience back there and Carbonneau is lacking it. He's got to go for them to be a better team. Shoot, I'm a Bruins fan and I can see that.

Carbonneau's a you-know-what hole, so even though his firing might jump-start the Habs, I'd love to see him go. Can't see how anyone's worse than Renney right now though.

I'd put my money on tom Renney, although I'd love to see Carbo gone from behind the Habs bench. he has no system, and honestly I think even the players hate him.

I want Carbonneau gone so bad but being best friends with Gainey, we'll never see that, not this year at least.

Renney will be next I bet.

I warned Ranger fans last summer........ :D

No doubt. What gets me is why anyone would ever have overly high expectations from Redden? He is what he is, and has always been.

Did anyone expect him to score 30 goals and be a tough guy all of a sudden? I never understood why this guy was so highly spoken of (or given a spot on various Team Canadas). To me, he has never been more than a 4th or 5th defenceman, yet he has been talked about like a franchise guy throughout his career.

As for the next coach...I say Renney, although he's probably one of the best coaches in the NHL in terms of preparation and the X's and O's.

Before you get rid of Carbo, get rid of your floaters. That team has been built around floaters like Kovalev (one of the most highly skilled, yet listless, heartless players to ever play the game). As far as talent goes, Boston is no better than Montreal, in my opionion. They just play hard every single night.

I don't think that is the coach's fault, necessarily. No one has ever been able to motivate Kovalev for an entire season.

Bringing the best out of a player is want a coach is suppose to do, if I'm not mistaking, Rider was Carbo's goat last year. A 30 plus goal scorer the previous two years. Now playing for Julien like a new man on a mission. That's a player, playing for is coach. A little respect both way's will do that. Carbo's way or the high way. Should be the next to go.

Well now that BG signed Schneider, maybe they will move Kovalev, he hasn't done anything all season, and he makes players around him (like AK46) worse. I used to like the guy but its his time to go, salut, ciao, auf wiedersehn Kovy.

I would love to see Gomez in red, black, & white in Chicago!

Renney will be next I bet.

Even if gainey does fire Carbonneau, I am sure they will keep him in montreal, but just not as a head coach

My vote is for carboneau to go

and the :rangers:'s lose in regular against the :blues:

Is this the final nail into Renney's coaching coffin?

They'll use him for entertainment during games where he makes stupid faces on the jumbotron whenever the Habs take a penalty:
