I find it very funny that GDT are popular among EVERY team except Boston. If TB is playing anyone else, the GDT seems to be pretty fun. They play Boston...NOTHING lol.

Anyways...I just wanted to put this up because Boston has taken sole posession of 2nd place in the East, 4th overall in the league. They are playing HOT, with a 7-0-0 record in the last 7. Lucic is on a tear, and the new guys are fitting in nicely.

Thomas is still out of his mind, but Rask is coming around and giving Timmy some rest he needs. I realy like our team right now and think we have a serious chance of doing well this post season. We are only 3 points behind Philly (granted they have a game in hand). Does anyone think we could catch Philly?

As far as montreal goes...that would be a great series...but as of right now, we dont match up for a first round

I think it's just indicative of the fanbase here. Besides yourself, hockeygrampy and maybe one more person who I'm not 100% sure about, I don't think we have many people that are Bruins fans or follow the B's every move. Using your example, we have some dedicated TB fans (or dedicated Vinny or Stevie Y fans,) and obviously big fans of all the Canadian teams, and then Pittsburgh, Philly, Washington and the California teams are well represented too. I wouldn't just peg it on the Bruins...we hardly have lively GDTs for a lot of teams unless there's a controversial hit or something crazy happened.

I cant believe you converted a Flyers fan to a Rangers fan. Maybe something like an Avalanche fan or the Wild, but the RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!! :beer:

haha if I didn't start kings game threads then you wouldn't see them either . And I would love to see a Boston vs Montreal rematch but with the Bruins sweeping the series! :giggity:

Still a good month left - I still hold out hope that the Habs can move up to 4th or 5th but failing that the ole 3x6 looms large as a possibility.

Hey leave the Wild Out of this. LOL As for the GTD Theirs not a lot on the Wild either. But I really don't mind that as the thread usually get closed down if people cant behave them self's

As a huge Bruins fan I as very excited about our team.. They will continue to meld into a great team.. Just hope they can resign Kaberle.. That being said I dont bother with the GDT they just become an area for arguements. I believe there are a few Bruins fans on here..

The bruins are the most balanced team in the eastern conference. The recent additions only make them that much better. I said it 5 years ago when they were a laughing stock, the team was building an identity from the core up.

Its odd how a team with "no offense" is second in the conference in goals for (first in the game in GA). They just put up a consistent effort every night, and every line is a threat.

Just because I feel it needs to be said again, the Bruins are the most balanced team in the east (and maybe even in the league).

Don't let them rain on your parade. I think Boston has a very good chance of beating out Philly for top spot in the East. I also think they'll push deep into the playoffs this year. I like the trades they pulled off to put themselves in contention and the goaltending has been unreal in Boston this year. Now if only Savard would come back for one last push before he retires from the game.
