Yeah. . . you heard me. . . the draft was rigged because the Rangers didn't get the #1 pick. Sorry. . . just had to get that out of my system. :D

On with the mail. . .

Gordie Howe - 1998/99 BAP SS All Star Legend Autograph /90

Thanks to chips*dad (Dave) for that card. :) That one completes a nice two card set... GH1 and GH2.

Next is a card that shouldn't exist. . .

Guy Lafleur - 2003/04 Pacific QFTC Eternal Champions Autograph /???

The card is numbered to /100. . . but was recalled by Pacific. . . well, most of them were. :D This is only the THIRD one that I've seen in a year. You might remember this card from a previous BECKETT HOCKEY COLLECTOR article (Oct/Nov 2004 issue).

And finally a slabbed gem. . .

Steve Yzerman - 2004/05 ITG Ultimate Scrapbook Gold Autograph /10

Card number 1/10. . . and Ultimate Number 1951/10000. . . thus making this card a two-way 1/1. :D  :D

Thanks for looking. . . please drive safely! :D

I'm happy that the draft was rigged :) At least it was rigged in the Pens favor :p Great pickups in the mail. Got to love those Howe's!! Congrats on a great haul!

You kids and your awesome cards! Back then we used to throw Howe rookies on the wall, and that's the way weez liked it!

Awesome stuff, Jay! Definitely some headbanging-worthy goodness! :D

Please drive wrecklessly ;)

Jason, Nice find on the Flower Auto, and the others are just awesome. Look at the bright side if the Rangers had gotten the #1 pick, Sather and Maloney would have traded it to the Devils for Scott Stevens. :o Mike

I'm with CJ on the smack upside the head. Consider yourself smacked again.

It's interesting to watch that LaFleur travel. If that's the one that was in Beckett, then it was mine originally, sold to Baljit, and now you've got it.

Oh, come on. You and CJ have to give me style points for creativity.

Actually, this Lafleur came from someone who supposedly pulled it out of a pack... so it's probably not the same one that you originally had. Like I said, it's the third one I've seen. I doubt there are more than 10 floating around... if that many.
