Detroit Pistons Rasheed Wallace:
I am not here to change anyone's opinion on Rasheed and I certainly don't like a lot of things he does on the court and the techincal fouls, whining on every foul call. Let me paint a different picture of Rasheed though as today he was at Kettering High School in the inner city of Detroit. Rasheed has a foundation that puts computers and books into lower income schools to give kids opportunities to have things he did not have when he grew up in Philly.
This is not a one time occurance, as I have a buddy that works for the Pistons and has told me stories about how Rasheed really has a passion for the youth and will do a lot of things without wanting recognition for his time. I think it is great when athletes give back and try to make a difference within the community. Like I said I don't expect you to become a Rasheed Wallce fan but do realize for as bad as he may act on the court and towards the press he is a lot different off the court and although he does not want people to know he does this it is important to recognize him for his actions. Rasheed I give you two thumbs up!!!
