Anyone see Raw last night it was great to see the Rock back even if it is only going to be for a month or so. He was his normal self on the mic which was a little refreshing to hear and nice that he did not just go after the Miz but really gave it good to Cena.

I completely marked out, I had no idea and saw someone on tweeter said he's about to come out so I tuned in for the first time, in problably 6 years.

Been watching Raw the last two weeks for some odd reason but I was glad to be watching this week. Can't remember the last time anyone got a pop like that and he was doing vintage Rock like he never left.

There are a few positives I took away from the show--The Miz is easily the best on the mic in the company right now. I marked a little bit to see Bryan Danielson succeed on a big stage.

Other than that, there seems to be a lot of the same crap that made me leave--the stupid Khali Kiss Cam, Edge looking fat and bloated while being the champion because there is no one else, the Divas being pushed like anyone cares about them, etc.

Not enough to get me fully invested or to order Wrestlemania (they had me when I heard the Sting rumors but it seems they are just rumors) but still cool to see him back.

They played this one out well...that had to be one of the biggest pops I've ever heard (biggest being for Hogan at WrestleMania X8).

That whole Rock thing was sick and off the hook (and all other 80s/early 90s associated terms) ...that reminded me of old times man. The pop he got was ridiculous, and I imagine every bit as loud as the loudest one I've experienced (Bret Hart at WCW New Blood Rising, which was epic considering there weren't more than 9000 people there...people were so loud my ears were ringing static for 10 minutes afterward)

For that brief time I felt like a kid again and the WWF became relevant once more. It can't last though, once The Rock drives the people's elbow through Cena's chest there's no one left able enough to be a compelling antagonist.

It was one of the few times were the internet websites could not blow the suprise, while his name was out there most internet guys thought it was Bob Barker. Great job by the WWE for making that one so good.

WTF is a "pop"?

Wrestling fan term for the cheers/applause a popular wrestler receives when he comes out. On the other end, a guy that's really good at getting the fans to hate the hell out of him (like Ric Flair in his prime) is said to be good at drawing heat.

Ryan 'Dorf > I'll be watching Wrestlemania. I usually don't miss it regardless of whether or not I'm watching at the time (I try not to miss Rumble and Mania but don't give a crap about the rest of it) but I'm actually looking forward to it this year.

The WWE I think had more enjoyable entertainment when they were trying to be edgy and pushing the envelope of what was tasteful on TV as opposed to the PG direction they're taking.

I do appreciate this anti-Vince Russo booking though, and the fact that smaller guys like American Dragon and Rey Mysterio, and thinner guys ( <240 pounds) like Kofi Kingston and Miz can thrive because of their skills regardless of size.

I still had no idea who the guy that won the Royal Rumble was until Jon (Bebop) told me it was Dos Caras Jr. without a mask, but well...whatever, it's all in good fun.

Saw the youtube video of it as I don't watch anymore. It was classic Rock and cool to see once but it's the same ol' thing that made me sick of him after seeing him do that for a few weeks in a row.

Wow. I have not watched wrestling in years, about 8 to be fair. This was like an Instant Flashback for me of my favorite wrestler of all time.

I mean I got excited when I heard him coming out. I even started to participate while watching at the computer finishing the lines "Finally the Rock has come back....." "Turn the son of a B sideways and stick...." and so on. He really has not lost it at all.

Now Im not going to start watching it again but man was it cool to see him still in his prime to return to the ring!
