The end of 2024 was very good for my Rusty Klesla collection. I upgraded a few parallels and added a bunch from my wantlist including some rather rare rookie year parallels.

01-02 UD Mask Collection jersey/patch /100, my 3rd copy

02-03 Topps Total auto, upgrade from my faded black ink to a blue ink copy

03-04 Topps Blue /500, replaces one with some edge chipping

02-03 Topps OPC blue /500, replaces one with edge chipping

01-02 BAP Sig Series Chicago Sun Times show stamp /10

00-01 Brampton Battalion release

01-02 OPC premier

02-03 UD Victory gold /100

02-03 SPx spectrum gold /10

01-02 Topps Chrome black border refractors /50, beautiful card in hand

00-01 Topps Chrome OPC refractors /35

And the final card, I missed out on one just under 3 years ago and haven't seen one since until just before the new year:

00-01 BAP emerald /10

Some big time pickups for my PC and I was incredibly happy to add them to my collection. It was a pretty slow year until the very end but was it worth it. I'm down to about 40 on my wantlist now and will probably be overpaying should they ever appear but it has been a lot of fun getting back to it. Amazing pickups! As a person who collects these years very heavy I can really appreciate how big of pickups the Chrome /35 and Emerald /10 are. Those Emeralds /10 barely ever pop up. Took a few years in between to find my Henrik and Daniel Sedin 2000-01 Emeralds /10.

So true, doesn't help that they were released in the Rookie & Traded update set making them even more difficult to track down. Its awesome you were able to find both Sedins.

Timmy is a legend of this hobby he unselfishly pointed me in TWO of the cards that were on both of our wantlists and let me get them ahead of him! He is happy to get assists... ppl like him are what makes our hobby amazing

I miss sets like Vanguard and Gold Label. Solid stock and beautiful. Yeah, I agree, its awesome when people point things out to help you complete your goals. I really appreciate that. I've seen people post their MTO cards from Dr Price and always thought what it would be like to own a custom Rusty card. That would be cool.

Happy to help with that Vanguard! All those pickups are so satisfying to me! You've done really well with those YoungStars memorabilia parallels too. Hopefully the dual rivals pops up for you soon. Those are really hard to come by. After 13 years, I have still yet to see a Nash & Bouwmeester Dual Rivals /10. I've recently picked up a few others in the set just because they are so hard to come by. So If I see a Rusty, i'll let you know.

Managed to snag it after putting in a rather large bid. With this card, I now have the complete insert set for Klesla from 02-03 Bowman Youngstars including a redeemed auto puck. Here's a pick of all of them together:



Being able to complete such a large memorabilia player set from a 23 yr old release feels amazing. It certainly wouldn't have happened without people's help and generosity. I truly appreciate it.

The low numbered hits from a that product were nearly impossible to find back then, it’s even crazier so many years later. Congrats!
