wow just wow. i went to dolly's here in toronto hoping they would have some base rcs for my set and they wound up having 1 box leftover for $75 which is the cheapest price here in the city. i was thinking against the box since i only need the doughty and wheeler out of the big hits and i thought my luck would run out. boy i'm glad that i didn't leave the box there!
the first few packs yielded really nice game used including a price/brodeur(2CL) winning combos, toews winning materials and a hossa winning materials spectrum. also got 3 spxcitements but the rookies were nowhere to be found. i come to my last few packs and i recalled a break i saw on blog tv which the very last pack of 09 10 spx yielded an erik karlsson spectrum patch rookie auto. on my way home i was thinking that i have pulled everything from this product except an in box patch so i am getting a little antsy.
i come to my very last 2 packs and i am thinking that i got shorted a both my rookies. i open the 2nd last pack and see a brian boyle rookie jersey. yay, at least i got a rookie. last pack. get ready for this. DREW EFFING DOUGHTY!!!!!! LAST PACK MOJO!!!! i also pulled a stamkos a couple of weeks ago but for some reason pulling the doughty made me more excited and i acted like an idiot on blog tv when doing my breaks but thankfully no one saw me lol. scans later tonight and thanks for the read. comments appreciated!!
