King of Kings, Verified Trader,
I haven’t been as active on the boards, or social media as I have been over the years. A lot of that is by design, but some of it is I am just absolutely beat many days after work. This pandemic has sucked the soul out of so many on the frontlines. Many of us will be migrating to other professions, or less strenuous ways of using our skill sets. But today is the last day of this tumultuous year so I decided to make one last fun post, so on to that!
As many of you know, I don’t EVER crack wax anymore, and have migrated away from hockey cards for the most part. But when Dr. Price started mentioning word of this new Vezina venture, I was beyond intrigued. I’m not going to beat a dead horse, it’s all been discussed in the hobby section as to why this product is legendary and beyond incredible.
I am just starting this show and tell thread off as I went ALL IN on this product. Before you ask how much I got, well, you’ll see. I haven’t done a show and tell in about 4 years I think? But I want to share it with all of you when I break this legendary stuff. I also wanted to make it my own tribute to Dr. Price and his incredible ingenuity and genius as a hobby innovator, passionate collector, and hobby legend. This is the old put your money where your mouth is, and I believe this to be the most important modern hockey card product along with that stuff in 2005-06 that came in mini lasagna pans! Haha
I’ll edit this post once I receive my packs, but just want to send a genuine thanks again to Dr. Price and the President's Choice Trading Card team for making the kind of product that evokes incredible excitement and makes people whisper in hushed tones at things that seem mythical to the average hockey card collector: Vezina memorabilia.
UPDATE 1/9/21: After seeing all the magnificent images Dr. Price has been kind enough to share, I am hopeful to pull some real Horse**** in this product among other things.
UPDATE 1/19/21: Santa came a little late this year, but he delivered! Guess I'm now officially a Vezina collector! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

UPDATE 1/22/21, HAPPY VEZINA DAY: I will write more later, just dropping these images off. I'll say this: First, thank you to Dr. Price and his colleagues for the most epic hockey card set in history. These cards are thick, heavy stock, high black gloss, and they look and feel VERY special and valuable. Unlike a white, matte stock of something. Second, in 100+ years what cards or set will your grandchildren talk about or chase like this? DO you think McDavid material will be rare by then? HA! Third, here is what it looks like when EVERY card is FOAM hit like the mini lasagna pans. Enjoy the images and good luck to all of you today!

EVERYONE PLEASE POST HERE, this isn’t just for me, I made this for all to share! Cheers!
