2009 Most Generous Member of the Year,
Seems like I have a lot of cards incoming so more frequent show and tell threads.
I guess that’s a good thing! Weekly threads but monthly VISA bills!
First I’ll start of with a Champ’s pull from yesterday at the Flea Market
You may have seen bbguy24’s thread where he pulled the Yao Ming auto and Tavares RC among others in a box he busted yesterday. Well this came from one of the 2 packs I managed to get from that same box
Pretty sweet to pull a GU of a guy you collect (in Whaler issues anyway) still was my first time getting a Mr Hockey pack pull
Champ’s can be addictive - seems like a hit in every pack - the Natural History, the Historical Figures, so many parallels and different colour backs, etc - I busted 5 packs on Saturday and got a Roy mini blue back (traded back to the LCS), President Harrison, Taj Mahal, a couple green parallels and a few Dinosaurs that went to my son
So enticing is Champs that even George bought a pack! Dean (bto3105) and I have it caught on camera - it was the highlight of the Flea Market - You had to be there!
Also from the Flea market, fellow collector, poker buddy and HI lurker Harry brought in some Francis and Burkes for me including this card I really needed:

Great oddball item to go with the regular version I have, now I just need the gold
1999 Topps Chrome Refractor
2002 UD Artistic Impressions Artists Touch GU /499
I had the gold version so nice to add the regular one finally
1999 Pacific Ice Blue /75
So many Pacific parallels to get and Ice Blue are always the toughest and my favourite of all the different variations
And the Francis pickups:
1996 Flair Blue Ice /250
This is a really nice looking card and a long time coming. I can honestly say this is the first one I have even seen.
A 1996 card out of 250 must have been fairly low #d for the time no?
2001 UD Exclusives /100
2002 Pacific Quest for the Cup Gold /325
2003 PH O6 Shooters NYR
This completes the 6 Francis shooters from this set - really like the design on these and glad to nab the 6th and final one
May as well have a Top 3 so here goes

2003 Beehive Gold /15
This was up with a decent BIN and Best Offer - didn’t risk it and jumped on it
Never know when a /15 will show up and I think this is the first one I have seen since it came out

2007 ITG Superlative Famous Fabrics /9
Nice big swatch on this baby with a big ole seam. Did pretty good landing this one. Would have been 1st star but this came in today...

2001 BAP Signature Series In The Numbers /10
Got this in a deal from HI’s No No No.....The other Steve. Great looking card and out of 10 so a real great addition to the PC
