The only reason I find this fishy is that there's no tape on the stick I know some people use very SMALL amounts of tape, but every picture I've seen of him show his stick fully taped at the bottom. Or am I being way too skeptical here...

Not uncommon to remove the tape from the blade at all. Im kind of surprised the stick is that high.

The auction seems like a scam, the seller doesnt even mention how he obtained the stick, looks like he just wrote in Beech himself and is trying to make a quick buck.

Well maybe he happened to find that broken stick or he himself broke it and found out that Beech used the exact same stick, and you pointed out another good reason, someone will be less suspetcing of a lesser known players stick than a star player.

that name peice isn't a part of the stick, it looks like a sticker and I thought the names were in there in paint not pen...
