So I have never sent cards in to be graded in the past. The only card I ever had graded was my Price Ice RC but that was done through a friend and fellow member SimonJa.

What I am looking for is some advice on the submission. I understand that generally speaking BGS for modern and PSA for vintage but what is my best option for cost and service speed?

I have a mix of older and newer cards so I am leaning towards PSA. What are the costs like? Is there a price break for a number of cards I should be looking to hit?

I am sure I can find a lot of this information on Beckett or PSA websites but wanted to try and streamline it since I know many of you use these services.

Thanks,
Scott

One question is are you looking for preserving them / not in a rush for your PC, or are you looking to possibly/probably sell them? Sales prices can vary large (even with modern) for PSA vs. BGS 9.5/10. So you often have to look completed sales searches and further research depending on the card to see what would maximize your sale.

There are some good resources like Vintagecardprices.com, pwccauctions.com, eBay completed list, you can also use PSAcard.com to get an idea of sales. And of course you can ask on here.

How do most of you ship when you send submissions in from Canada?

Can you just use Canada Post or does it have to be FedEx or something like that?
