Not sure why I put terrible, I guess to attract more hits. Haha. Next week will be terrible with exams.

In this first scan we have an accumulation of cards from three resident HI compadres.

- The three H&P cards are from Ryan (Ferris) - the Bryzgalov is for my bro' and the other two autos are FT (at least I think Carlo is). There was also a Crosby base in there that can be had as well.
- The Frank auto is from Paul (wogman56) and it wasn't the card I thought it was, so this will be traded to my father for some other autos to trade here. Silly me.
- The Check-my-neck is from John (sprague11) and he seemed fairly happy to get rid of it. I guess he was "the plague of sprague?" :p. Seriously I got this card for the set and now I need one more to finish it - Aebischer. Help?

This next scan has some cards from outside HI sources :o (boo! hiss!).

- The dual auto was from a trade and is again FT.
- The dual jersey card was a dollar or so and is also FT.
- The Miller auto was a pack pull from Trader's Night, which was dead due to the weather. There was however, a guy there that opened a blaster box of 04-05 UD. Promptly after finishing opening it he asked if Dwight or I wanted the cards. And he meant every card he had got. Dwight declined, and I am not one to turn down a free offer, so I accepted, all the while thinking where can I now dump them? Of course that last part is a joke. I hope. There are World's Best inesrts 5-12 and I think I will just do a contest to spread the happiness and joy around. The YG might be for trade, I have to check with a local guy here first. He also gave me two packs of Leg Classics and one H&P base. Nice guy, and I didn't even get his name. :o I feel really silly right about now.

Now we get to the best part of the mail. :D

- First we have a Topps Youngstars Kovalchuk autographed puck card. This is from Matt (Mattforester). This is in my opinion, one of the msot unique cards ever made. I mean, it would be neat to have the entire puck, but this also gives an image and authenticity right on the card. The autograph is nice and clear (not the title reference!) as well, no smudging. Very impressed, and it is NFT.
- The final card (top in scan - duh!) is from an amazing trader over on Beckett, Joe Reinwald (weasel-king). This card is being held for Kyle (biggestwiffer) and is hopefully for the final card in my SOTT set. I was curious where this patch came from...The white is nameplate material, but just on the right side of the patch (beneath the ICE symbol) there is another piece of black patch. It is hidden, but makes the white much slimmer and more unlikely for a letter. Just wonderin'...

Oh, the Lemieux was the "clear" part of the title, in case that was unclear. :p

THanks, eh?

Edit: No automatic picture resize?

Forgot to mention, I also received well over a hundred base and inserts from Joe. Will give me something to do after exams. Yay!

stars fan - I will check out your site tonight and get back to you. THanks for replying!

as my Omi says "Ohh my stars"
Haha the Kovy is wicked man. What is the print run on that beaut
I have never seen that set befor.

ssa6 - The card is numbered 164/200 on the back. Forgot to say that.

Chris - Mine has the "Gary" of Bettman's auto, so does it count as a dual auto? :p Haha. I grabbed this because the card is so freakin' cool. For that reason, it is unlikely that I will part with it - but if I ever have to I will give you that shout. Too bad on the resize, I liked it.

Mike - I think you meant to say, "Clearly an awesome mailweek". Haha.

THanks for the replies guys! Much appreciated.

Wow, sweet mail. The Lemieux looks like it's from the nameplate on the black Penguis jersey.

Andrew - See that's what I thought. I don't think the white is thick enough though. Maybe it is from the shoulder patch number on the black jersey? Are they the same material as the numbers?
