This is getting ridiculous!!! eBay no longer allowing check/MO for payment...

Wait a second here......let me get this straight, you guys are still using Ebay since the new changes earlier in the year??

For all its flaws, it still has a level of exposure that isn't available anywhere else. I can post cards for sale here, sell one and receive 5 lowball offers. I can post the same list of cards on eBay, and sell 75% of them for my asking price, or a reasonable offer. The new rules haven't led to me getting burned, and by selling cards with higher fees, I am still further ahead then if I can't sell the cards.

Ding. We have a winner.

Unless another site - Naxcom for example - become suddenly much more attractive as a venue, it's unlikely to supplant eBay as a primary marketplace.

Much ado about nothing. Many of you forget one simple fact:
No seller worth his salt is going to let something as ridiculous as this asinine eBay policy come between him and a sale. Even many of the sellers who say they only accept paypal will cheerfully make an exception if asked politely.

This isn't going to be enforceable. Mainly because unlike other changes, users won't want it to be so.

Unless, EBAY mandates Paypal payments must be received within a certain time frame (let's say 48-72 hours). We already know the auction is linked to Paypal once a payment is made, so they can track it very easily if they go that route.

I noticed that Naxcom is now being called "Sports Buy"... Transition to the new name is in effect. Good move imho.. I could never remember "naxcom"....

I was just about to say that if Naxcom wants to make it, they should consider changing their name to something more user friendly and not a name you'd find on a stock market ticker.
