Well, this is a new one for me that leaves a sour taste! Paid for an eBay item with tracked shipping. It was shipped to my "Get It Shipped" in New Hampshire.

According to the mail carrier (US Post) the label itself made it to New Hampshire, but had come detached from my envelope. It arrived in New Hampshire (partially) stuck to another item (not mine, but also going to Get It Shipped). Writing on the label is from the postal service employee who did the "delivery" on December 24. :(

eBay sided with the seller who proved delivery, and I'm out the cost of the item plus shipping. Almost makes me wonder if the envelope ever left the seller at all? :P Maybe I'm reaching a bit there, but this one sucks. :(

Bye, bye, $35 CAD. :( https://www.ebay.ca/itm/133272278900

I guess... not sure how the label comes 100% off my envelope though, and seller refuses to even reach out to US Post to troubleshoot. I asked if maybe they had just printed in their inkjet printer and taped to the envelope, but they said it was a proper adhesive label, not just paper taped to the envelope. I guess it was the seller's quick "shut down" without any offers to contact US Post to investigate.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous stories I've heard for eBay (or for an item delivery in general.) Is this a new scam thing, so now they can just ship the label? There is no way eBay should be accepting that, there is visual proof that the item was not received. The seller can prove delivery of the label, but not the actual item.
