I bought the HC Omnibus #1 & 2(Signed LE version) and I liked it. The first 20 issues was really good, then I sort of lost interest. Locke and Key is WAY better:beer:

The Walking Dead?

I know it's super popular, and one of the 'essential' reads but is it really that good?

They had a reprint of #1 for a buck so I picked it up. If its good I'll pick up the first trade.... if thats good I'll get the second.... then if thats good, well, I'll be out a LOT of $$ trying to get each issue individually.

So in a way, I'm hoping it stinks lol

I may give Locke and Key a shot soon.

Im close(ish) to catching up to my pull list. Have about 50ish comics to read before Im up to date. Then I want to give the Walking Dead a shot. Will read the first 2 trades and see where it goes. THENNNN I will look into Locke and Key. Whats the first Locke and Key trade called?

It might look and sound strange but it is really good. The second book was even better.

Ironically, they had a reprint of Locke & Key #1 at the shop for $1 so I picked it up. I'll give it a whirl.

I am not sure if 1 issue will do it justice. With each issue I got more interested and addicted to the title. Such a cool and very different story. Very well written and fantastic artwork.
