Hey All.
Interesting week for the collection. I expected Jagr to go away, but not to Russia and was totally blind-sided by the Tyutin trade, but such is life in the "New NHL". Perhaps I need to focus on the guys like Leetch, Messier, Richter and not get caught up in the Johnny-come-latelys... Anyway, thanks to a couple of HI's finest. Chips-Dad (Dave) sent me a bunch of freebies this week including a cool Ftorek in person auto. Forgot to scan it, but thanks Dave, your a real class act.
Also, thanks to Suitman (Bruce) for our umpteenth trade. Smooth as silk as usual Bruce. You da man. The rest if from the bay. If I missed anyone, please take a bow.... And away we go....:
First, the Yankees Legacy set is coming along nicely:
Now, the Hockey stuff. First a few oddball pieces:
1969-1973 Equitable Print Ching Johnson (I've only been able to find out a little info on this "card". According to an old Annual they were made in 1969-73 but offered no other info. Anyone?)
2001-02 Rangers Team Issued oversized "card" (According to the OPG these don't exist. Again, anyone?)
1973-74 Mac's Milk Rod Gilbert (Never seen one of these before. Kinda cool)
