I picked up my Mirror Platinum Khabibulin for less than $15.00. It was a website called http://eatatjoez.com/ The site has since been closed down but they had a promotion that every month a card didn't sell on their site they marked it down 5%. I was lucky I guess.

I just sold my 1996-97 Saku Koivu Run for the Cup for $80.00 as well.

lol...if it makes you feel any better, the Brodeur cost me the most, then the Roy, and the least was the Gretzky (think less than 1/3 of this last one's ending price). go figure. wned:

I have the Yzerman and Shanahan and both were a bear to find. The regular golds aren't as hard as the Mirror Platinums. Beautiful cards also..

Just look for what the 90's insert of Michael Jordan are going right now! I think, we'll see also a price increase in hockey. In Basketball, some inserts of that time are going for a lot of money...

Surprising, considering I think the print run numbers on the issues are wrong. I've seen far too many of them over the last two years to believe they were as limited as they were stated to be.

Actually the Mirror Platinums are machine numbered to 30 on the back of the cards. The regular mirror golds are more plentiful or so it seems.

Beautiful looking cards. Very happy when I found mine 6 or 7 years back. Bought a lot of 10ish Ranford cards off a guy for around $100. Thought I was over paying at the time, but I have never seen another copy of this one (the goalies are only #ed to 25)
