Actually tells you the season the jersey was worn. In a time of fake/incorrect patches, cryptic COA's and "certified to us" crap, sets like these are criminally under-appreciated if you ask me. They don't make 'em like they used to

I loved that years set. I would have probably done about 3 cases of the stuff had I had the money. Congrats on the awesome patch

I love these for the exact same reason. I have a Lidstrom one that also says the jersey was used during the 2001-02 season.

Kev, those are tough to find with three colors on Gaborik. I have these five (gave away the bottom right to a person who needed one). Yours is top notch!

Thats sweet, I remember football cards, I think leaf, use to have a photo of the actually jersey worn. Sometimes the picture would have an arrow to point to the exact swatch. Now that was cool!

great card, Pacific produced some really nice patch cards.

If you don't mind me asking, what did it set you back?

A lot of the nice patch cards from Pacific have held their value over the years and even common players with multi color patches sell in the $15-$20 range. I have even seen set collectors bid up a common patch card to the $30 mark.
