Time to sell my 08-09 opc retro rainbows??

I have a lot of the big ones. Seeing the auctions ending at 30 to 100 each, then this..... I have about 700/800. Thoughts??

It's an iconic design, those are great cards.

I got sniped on the Roy he has up as well. Went for over $200.

I do not understand the value.From the exact same set the high series gold parallels are definitely a
lot less than 100 copies per card.So maybe they should be the ones that sell for high dollars.

I'm guessing its the 79-80 retro look which is huge for collectors. So..... Gretzky rookie year design, I do get it a bit, but I remember picking mine up for $30 maybe?

A trevor linden sold for over $100 as well.

As for the golds, yes they are rarer, but I guess this could always be compared with YG to FW.

The golds look meh, while the rainbow retro are cool looking cards. Just puts my chasing the last few on hold for a while I guess. Still looking for a handful of Gold update and metal x, and about 100 of the rainbows. Have the retro, metal and base done

That set is definitely a diamond in the rough due to the iconic design.

Up to you if you want to break up your partial set, but they have done well lately that's for sure.
