I pulled this Torrey Krug /100 Draft Positions Parallel the other day....

I went to list it on eBay at around 50% BV, like I usually do, and I noticed that the book value on this card is $175!

Is there something special about the numbering on these? I know that Titanium does have some weird stuff...but a serial numbered insert to /100 booking at $175?

I'm pretty sure the cards numbered from 1 to the player's jersey number are considered true RC's, and the rest numbered to 100 are parallels or something like that. Either way, that's pretty crazy money.

Thanks, so this is actually an /55.... Well, they don't sell for nearly as much though.

Torrey Krug broke out during the playoffs last season and the few cards that he had at the time did VERY well compared to their numbering. Beckett's value is based on the prices of auctions in May and not the most recent pricing.

I hope not. I am using the OPG, so I would hope they would have updated it from 6 months ago.

Doubt it - look at the prices for say, 99-00 UD Exclusives /100. Beckett doesn't update as often as they should.

The last couple of Krugs /100 have sold for 19.99 / 33.00 / 19.50 / 32.00 and 20.50 with one hidden number from a BIN/BO that started at 60. If they were to price it now, I'm guessing they book it as a $50 card.

You can actually find out the blocked BIN amount by clicking the link beside the auction title (see original listing), and then scroll down, and click the print link. The sold price should be shown on that page.

I did not know that trick, thanks.

This site is very helpful as well:

On the topic....as the above posters have said, Krug's stuff all went mental during the playoffs last year (for example, I got $15 for a Score RC...lol), and clearly Beckett rarely updates their hockey pricing. To my knowledge, they have one staff member who is in charge of all their hockey pricing. No wonder a few (almost all?) of the prices are a bit out to lunch :duh:
