This was a great game to watch..Antoine provides so much heart and energy. The Celtics won this game 109-102 versus Utah..Antoine Had 24 Points and 10 Rebounds,Delonte West is his first career start with GP gone had 16 Points 7 Rebounds three assists and Backup PG Marcus Banks had 10 Points and 3 Assists and some great steals. Very nice win and hope the trades will make the atlantic division more competitive.
 
They still won regardless of how many shots he took, thats all that counts for the Celtics right now, they dont care if he takes 15 shots or all of um, as long as they win the **** game.
 
33 shots but they were almost all gimmes that he missed and usually got back on an offensive rebound and put in. Only forced about two shots all game.

And this comes from a guy who's a Kobe fan, someone who takes over 20 shots a game and shoots even worse than Walker.

A few games? He missed nearly a month. Thats a faulty stat. Your the only one who would criticize a 33 pt 13 rebound 6 assist game..

Exactly. And when Walker now has 30 shots a game his team actually wins, something you can't say about Kobe & his "team".
 
Let's see.. Kobe had 24 shots last night, made 9 of them (lol) and scored 26 points.. PLUS his team lost (again). Hm.... I do prefer Walker's game.
 
I think the real argument here should be the fact that Walker is taking the most shots on his team. Paul Pierce is the real star there, he has better %'s.

I was INCREDIBLY happy when Walker left Dallas, I cant remember how many wide open 3 pointers he would take and brick off the backboard, or how many times he would try to lay up over a Dikembe-Mutombo-type player. The guy just has terrible shot selection, and his shooting touch isnt all that great. Granted he is a very hard working player, a very smart player as well, hes a pretty good passer and has good knowledge of the game. But his physical abilities are quite limited. I agree with everyone so far. But Kobe doesnt really have anyone else on his team who would step up if he didnt take 24 shots per night, if antoine gave up 10 of his shots to pierce per night, im sure they would win more games :)
 
Chucky Atkins was shooting 10-21 from the field. How come Kobe STILL had more shots even tho he missed 15 of his 24 shots? I saw that last year in the Finals as well when Shaq was shooting like 85% from the floor, going 12-16 and Kobe was like 7-23 or something like that.
 
Kobe had zero points in the 4th quarter..Chucky carried the team yet Kobe got to take the final attempt at tying the game..Thats why the Lakers are not going to make the playoffs.
 
The Celtics only won in OT and oh ya, did you guys forget Nash didn't play that game?
 
He sure went to his old Boston form (before all the trades) last night. 4-19 from the field, 0-5 3's and 1-3 FT's. That's just BAD.

The Celts still won the game and thats all that really matters.
 
Yeah.no question bad game by Toine last night but when you have a three headed monster with RD,AW,P2..you can win big games.
