Sorry had to vent.

Just got back from the Rangers/Penguins "game" and let's just say that Tom Poti isn't exactly making Rangers fans pleased. I hope this guy gets Terrell Owens'd. :D I forsee a lot of healthy scratches in his future. Tom Renney doesn't take kindly to lackluster play.

Sebastian Caron really had a solid game tonight.

I was watching part of the game but missed most of it on OLN...what did Tom do?

Nothing... that's the problem.

Well, I shouldn't say "nothing"... he repeatedly let the puck out of the offensive zone, refused to shoot, didn't hit anyone... need I go on?

Look at all the sour grapes, relax boys! You guys just got beat by a better team that's all :p . We all know Jagr buckles when he plays againt his teacher ;)

oh
I forgot about Brewer too,
got rid of him just in time.
Though he's not as bad as the other two.
Poti's the worst.

Everyone has an off night. Montana threw 4 interceptions in his first game as a QB. Most people would have thought he was a laughing stock if they judged him at his worst.

Wes - The problem is that an "off night" for Poti is when he plays well. :D Hailey's Comet shows up with more regularity than a good Poti game.

Ah. Maybe I just don't like judging people, or wishing joblessness on them. How old is Poti? Perhaps he still has time to turn it around?

I doubt they'll be able to move him at that salary. He'll most likely get bought out after the season in order to save the cap room for next year.

I'm of the opinion!

That it all stems from the change to # 16. WTF is up wit that!

To answer the age question: 28 years old

For further info: Tom Poti

Actually, Poti changed his number to #16 in an effort to confuse Rangers fans that were booing him with #3. To date, it hasn't worked! :D

Hey, Poti is one of the few players who got booed so much they had to trade him out of Edmonton. Glad Slats still liked him. He's got a multitude of problems like:

1. His stupid long stick, doesn't use it defensively, takes too long for him to take a shot, can't shoot/pass the puck effectively

2. He is not physical - how does someone 6'4" 210 lbs. not use his body in some way - he doesn't hit, he doesn't even position himself properly.

3. Plain and simple can't play defense.

This is Exhibit 'A' for why you don't pay for potential.

you rangers fans complain about poti when you have MALIK

malik is the most worthless 6 foot 5 255 pound player in the league plays like a 5 foot nothing player. minus the speed.
