I was looking over some of the ITG International ice cards on ebay and noticed Tony Esposito played for Team Canada and Team USA. Whats the story behind that. Is it as simple as he just changed citizenship and thats it?

Exactly - Of course he was the second goalie(or maybe #1) in the famous 1972 series for Canada, but 9 years later played for Team USA. At that time you were allowed dual citizenship and Tony O had lived 10 years in the USA.
