This year I have spent most of my focus collecting the "generational" talent players: Eichel, McDavid and Matthews. Of course I've added a few Ovechkin's and Crosby's along the way as well.

10. Some of my rarer Eichel's share this spot. I have a few copies of Eichels' YG exclusives, but had been after a higher grade for awhile. After narrowly missing out on his YG exclusives PSA 10, I eventually worked out a deal here for the BGS 9.5, which is only pop 13 - thanks again @charnick ! I think my favourite here is the SP FW gold limited /25, which is actually the highest grade available (although there are 3 PSA 10s out there). I'm still after his SPGU /15 and the YG high gloss.
9. Eichel Cup rainbow. I'm partial to 3+ colour/top set patches, but the cup /99 features the Sabres' sword cross which apparently is the only one in the entire print run! The gold is 09/24 which is Eichel's current jersey number.
8. I had been looking to pick up a Matthews ARP, and really liked the design and concept of this set, being limited to jersey number. I had my eyes set on a McD Exquisite /97, but that will hopefully be a 2019 pickup.
7. Maybe my favourite parallel, the Young Guns Exclusives. I actually have a 4th Exclusives that is "true gem", but I took that one straight to the safety deposit box. (Included the high gloss in the pic just to look complete)
6. I've wanted this ever since I first started collecting, so when one was offered to me I pulled the trigger. Without doubt, he is the best goal scorer I've ever seen.
5. I've had multiple copies of this card, but this is the highest grade I've owned. There is only 1 BGS 10 in the pop report, and then this is the second highest grade, being only 0.5 away from a 10!
4. I really like Ice Premieres, and I really like McDavid...enough said.
