Not a ducks fan at all but if Gretzky was an oiler piece I would say yes but seeing it's a kings I'd prefer the Ducks shield.

Trade for that EofE card / year, I would not trade the Dual Shields.
Some better designed EofE of Gretzky out there IF that is what you want!
Hopefully the DEAL is not HI related!

I think it should be mentioned that if you have to think this long and hard about it, you probably shouldn't do it. Somewhere in the back of your mind you are thinking you want to keep that card, and obviously aren't 110% satisfied with the deal.

Unless you are sure, keep the shield so you don't feel any regret afterwards.

Gretzky isn't in an Oilers uniform, so it's a pass for me. I'm no fan of Getzlaf or Perry, but I don't think too many Shields have been made of the pair on one card while a Gretzky Dual Patch Auto isn't exactly a difficult card to locate.

I wouldn't make the trade. If Gretzky was in an Oilers jersey, then you'd move me to a definite "maybe".

What do you have into the Dual Shield? That would definitely help guide my decision.

I think that Gretzky MIGHT bring $400-450 or so, as others have mentioned, because it's Kings and not Oilers which would fetch more.

Also, looks like UD is done with dual shields so that's a factor as well. I think they will start to gain more value as the years go by and the market dries up more, especially a desirable pairing like Getzlaf and Perry. There will also be plenty more Gretzky cards, EOE included.

Are you keeping the Gretzky or flipping it? That would also be a consideration.

My two cents: do the trade. The Gretzky is also very rare, and the Great One's stuff holds its value extremely well. Whether for PC or if you ever wanted to move the Gretzky, you wouldn't have much trouble moving it.

The shield card is beautiful and I have a soft spot for those two as they are true Team Canada heroes. However the Gretzky is also beautiful, rare and got and autograph of the goat which the shield card don't. I say Go with the Gretzky.

He has a few different eBay IDs and has been trying to trade me that same Gretzky, his Ekblad shield, and some other card for one of mine.

I had a look at his feedback and it definitely raised more red flags for me which helped me sway my decision. Thanks for the heads up!
