Hey guys,

For those of you who don't know, I'm an engineer by day, card collector by night. I was playing around in my CAD system earlier and came up with this. It is to scale, the top loader is a clear plastic, the card is to scale, and the stand is something I thought up.
Unfortunately, the card in the file is not mine! haha
I'm thinking of actually refining the card holder design and making a prototype for myself.
Anyone have any interesting hockey card related designs they've ever thought up?
Who knows, if you think up something crazy and cool, I may be able to design and even manufacture it for you.... well, in exchange for some cardboard. lol
Cheers

Really nice cause i know how hard it is to work it Auto cad But i really think it would have been easier to do it in illustrator and photoshop..
The final result would have been amazing..

Nice work tough..
I would love to be able to do just a little something with autocad but i just dont get it..

Thanks for sharing

Hey,
Thanks!

This is actually in SolidWorks... AutoCAD's 3D capabilities ****! haha

It would have been easier to do like you said, but the beauty with this is, I can send this to a 3D plotter and create the actual part.

I may modify the base a little, and run a rapid prototype.. if that happens, I'll post a picture of the actual part, and not a computer generation.

Cheers!
Brad
