Modin should help out Columbus' attack immensely though, pretty decent pick-up for Denis.

Take it for what it's worth, but Jay Feaster was very upset at Norrena last off-season when they had agreed to a contract verbally, and Norrena backed out at the last minute before signing.
Revenge???
I like the trade for my side of things but naturally, I will miss Modin. It was a necessary decision, though... and the risks up front (can Ryan Craig, Dmitri Afanasenkov, etc, replace Modin) are less than the risks of another year of lousy goaltending.
