This post is a long time coming. I know the last time I did one of my big Turco show and tells I promised I would share the whole collection in a single post dedicated to my complete collection. That was a few years back. After the whole photobucket fiasco I put that off. I do believe now you can use photobucket for sharing once again if you have a free account, just the photos have watermarks on them, so bare with that. I’m far too lazy to move the pictures to flickr, plus my flickr page is pretty much dedicated to the collection I’ve been really enjoying, my game worn jerseys. Hockey cards have really fallen on the back burner the past several years as I have far more enjoyment in the game worn jerseys and doing music festivals, most notably TomorrowLand in Belgium every summer.. Which I expect next to no one on here to know about. I haven’t been able to add any Turco cards off my wantlist in the past couple years and I also avoid picking up Leaf cards unless they come very cheap… They have little appeal to me, all the sets look the same and not a fan of the NHLcom jersey customizer images. So, with that I am no longer a completest. I also don’t go for all the vault cards as some people think they’re truly 1/1’s and ask laughable prices, but I still pickup what I can. I have been collecting Marty’s cards since 1999-00, hard to believe it’s been so long… anyways on with the show…
I will do this in three parts I think, lockout and beforehand, followed by post lockout career cards, and lastly post retirement, team issues, odballs and game used
2000-01 Rookie Season (complete run of cards)
BAP Memorabilia Rainbow, not much to say here…
Much nicer than it’s BAP/ITG counterpart pictured before is BAP Signature Series. Included here is a copy of his rookie /500 that has player where the other copies are numbered /500. Only copy I have ever seen, and came directly from Marty’s dad Gino!
Cross brand Parkhurst release from that season
Crown Royale and Vanguard pictured. Would love to find some boxes of 2000-01 Vanguard, which is apparently impossible!
Pacific Private Stock, the hobby rookie was one of the last cards from this season I needed..
Titanium Draft Day, included is a very rare sample card
Turco Titanium hobby and retail. This card used to be HUGE, always looking for more copies of the hobby rookie. Though it seems most times when copies come up, people expect 2007 prices for it haha
Start of my favorite brand, Topps. Topps Stars was a really nice set, loved the look of the cards and the ice texture to them. Would love to see Topps back in the game, as much as I love Upper Deck, that’d get me back in the hobby.

Topps Reserve, this was my favorite set from this season. Absolutely loved putting this together. Included is the ultra rare patch relic. Only copy I have ever seen.
UD1 and UD2 jersey cards, Top Shelf combo, and at one time my whale the dual signed SPx card…. Which I now have 5 copies of I believe

Young Gun Buyback.. Another card that took me a long time to track down.. I believe I now have 3 or 4 copies.

BAP Signature Series- We come across the first missing card in the collection. I am missing the autograph jersey card “/10”… Had a vault copy incoming but sounds like it has gone missing
ITGU set and Toronto Star card. Really like the foil base card
ITG Ultimate.. This is the first of a few dual cards of Turco and Esposito. Both from the Soo and Marty’s idol growing up.
Complete run of BTP cards. The Complete Package at one point was a white whale way back in the day. I have a few copies of that card now, who knows how many are really out there sadly
BAP All Star rainbow.. Love the looks of this.The 1/1 is a beauty.

Titanium Set. Love the unique Titanium patches including the one with the Koho tag from the inside neckline of the jersey. I do have a Titanium patch of Turco’s sitting at COMC with a part of the Koho brand patch from the back of the jersey… One day it will be in hand
Topps/OPC rainbows… Really like the almost glitter look the parallels have here. One of the red copies here are among my most recent wantlist pickups coming in early 2016

UD All World Edition Set… There was supposed to be a multi player autograph of Turco with Tretiak and a few other goalies… Wish that would have been made..
SPA Set… A little overkill on the buybacks but lots of ink is never a bad thing
Ultimate Set.. I have since moved one of my Ultimate Signature Patches /10 so only have two now.
