Has anyone redeemed this card yet and if so what is the status? In product? Athlete commited?

I was after this and a few potential trade partners had been given the "athlete committed to signing", but I'd almost guarantee at this point that it doesn't get made. I do, however, have the rest of the set if anyone would be interested

When you redeem that one it says that it will be available with the 08/09 SPx, kind of similar to what they did with Dustin Boyd (I think his RC finally came in once 07/08 SPx was out)

Hey T, yours is the one I was talking about. Don't know anybody else who has one. I, too, am waiting patiently to see if yours gets made, because if it is, I'll be on the lookout for more.

Hey Tina,

we never met but I have met your Bf at Mavericks a few times. Thanks for the info, and yours is the only copy of the patch variation I have seen surface thus far.

I wonder what the story is on the scarcity of these cards, either there aren't really /999 and /100 made or people just have them redeemed and waiting.

My guess goes to the first situation.

They're still working on remaking cards from 05-06 The Cup that were lost by Kostitsyn.

Um...it's been two years. They knew there was an issue before the product released. I'm highly skeptical that those will ever get made, if they haven't been by now, no matter who is implying or saying otherwise. It does not take two years to create a new printing plate, print new cards and have them signed.

That being said, if by some grace of god, they do surface, I will be the first in line to pick up a nice three color copy.
